According to what CBSsports.com, NBC's ProFootballTalk.com, and other sources have reported, the app developers (MGM Casinos) own the intellectual property related to the app, not the league itself or its investors. There was a rumor going that Dundon only put money into the AAF to get control of that app and withdrew as soon as was practical after securing his position. However, the reports stated said he doesn't have and can't claim control of the app and that his withdrawal was due to the NFL and NFLPA not agreeing to provide practice squad players.
