Fellow researchers,

In my neverending project to record the wrestling history of Danny McShain, I would very much like access to the newspaper archives of the Houston Chronicle. The rights to this archive is held by Newsbank, which leaves me no way to access them from outside the US. I believe that many US libraries will let you access Newsbank for free, and that this can be accessed online. Would anyone be able to procure or lend me a library card number from a library with Newsbank access? I would be eternally within your debt. I know that I have not shared much here since Jim passed, but I have been working diligently adding thousands of cards to for those that use that site. However, I would commit to posting a detailed chronological history of Houston wrestling here at S&W if anyone can get me access to the archives. In the spirit of sharing, if anyone would like to read a detailed history of either Abilene, Texas or Albuquerque, New Mexico, hit me up with a DM for a sample of what I would propose. I would post that stuff here, but it's almost impossible due to the limitations of the formatting for this site.
