"continue where the original left off"??? LMAO As much as I loved He-Man when I was 7 years old, there was barely a plot in each episode, let alone any kind of ongoing story that can be continued. It was a glorified toy commercial. As for the Dolph Lundgren live-action movie, that has a hilarious background to it. Apparently there was a fantastic script written that was true to the setting of the original that they wanted to make, then they were given a budget of about $12, so they had to scrap that and rewrote it with some portal bullshit that brought everyone to modern day USA to save money on sets (same story with Star Trek IV). Netflix already rebooted She-Ra for the SJW generation, so expect the hyper-masculinity to be turned way down. I'm interested to see how Kevin Smith fits into producing the kind of woke content that is 95% of Netflix originals.
