I’ve been to the Houston Steak 48 a few times and enjoyed it but my palate isn’t refined enough to fully enjoy a $100 ribeye. I always leave feeling that the ones I get at Kroger and grill myself aren’t $85 dollars worse. I will say though that Steak 48 has a truffle baked potato that is amazing. I lack facial emotion most of my life and my wife and kids were shocked to see the uncontrollable joy in my face eating the potato.

Killen’s steak house is becoming a thing in the south Texas area but I’ve never been impressed. Always felt like a waste of money when we have gone.
