North American Heavyweight Champion Sonny Myers defeated Don Curtis in three falls.
Sonny Myers was not the Amarillo North American Champion. Dory Funk won the title in a tournament in Amarillo 5 days earlier
The Arizona results in this list are from the short period of time when the Amarillo promoters also owned the Arizona promotion. This was a different version of the title.
