Ok someone explain the possibility of round two
Two weeks before Biden's inauguration and 'impeachment' gets thrown out there like it's something that can actually be done in two weeks.
I just remember 'round one' where 'opening statement' took two weeks
The process itself is simple and doesn’t need to, nor was it designed to, take weeks or months. The first impeachment of Johnson began a mere 3 days after his impeachable offense, and he asked for 40 days to gather evidence to defend himself and was only granted 10. It can be a 2 week process, but of course that was the 1800s and everything takes longer today.
