The answer to your question is, "Because they're the Lions." You should be happy they lost. Maybe they'll get a higher draft pick. What else are they playing for?

Because they draft a QB with a rocket arm and make him throw dump offs. Meanwhile, their only weapon is out and their RB is hurt so they face a stacked line.
Oh, and their D isn't too great either.

| While driving to a buddy's house to watch the Vikings-Packers game, I turned on XM and listened to the end of the early games. I stopped at the Rams-Lions game since it was close. It was the Lions broadcast. On what turned out to be the game winning drive for the Rams, the announcers were stating that the Rams were just going to give it to Steven Jackson and that they could not believe that something that obvious was escaping the Lions players and coaches.
