Since it was a blacked out show, the only way it'll be seen is on 24/7. So when they do air it, you will be able to get it in digital quality.

It's a long-standing want-to-see of mine as well.

Really?  I thought I had that match on a tape I got from McAdams.  Not digital quality of course.  Is there a similar finish?

not from msg. cawthon's site says that it was shown on MSG Network which has made me curious as to why I have not been able to find it. Any chance of checking your collection for the match. I was 11 years old when this match took place and I read about it in the first wrestling magagzine I ever purchased. I'd love to finally be able to see even part of it!!!

Not to sound like romdam, but no.  When I got married I boxed all the tapes I had watched and stuffed them into a storage unit.  Maybe this summer, but I'm not freezing my cock and balls off to search for it.

Is McAdams site still up?  The description might be there, and them I'd know if that was what I had.

McAdam didn't have the April 1982 MSG show. As a big Snuka mark, I can tell you that the April 1982 MSG show never aired.

In fact, a year ago I posted a message on KM or Wrestlingclassics or Oldschool to see if anyone had ever seen a single clip from any of the matches that took place at MSG in April 1982 and no one did.  In all these years, not a single clip has emerged from that whole card, making me wonder if it was even taped at all.

The two Snuka - Backlund rematches from MSG from early and late June 1982 are widely traded.

OK.  The Snuka vs. Backlund stuff I had was from McAdam, so if he didn't have it then I'm thinking of the wrong match.

You can still access McAdam's old listings from the internet wayback site... some links don't work but eventually you should find everything you want.

An entertaining wrestler, he certainly could get a crowd fired up and watching whether as an heel or a face. Had great matches with Backlund, Piper and Muraco as everyone wells knows. Was surprised when he suddenly seemed to disappear from the WWF in the mid-1980s.

I always liked Snuka... even when he returned to the WWF in 1989, I marked out for him against Boris Zhukov.

Never have been a fan.....

Just never cared for anything he did, other than his tag team with Terry Gordy in Georgia.

That's some great stuff... I don't have much of it on tape but the Snuka-Gordy team is one of my favorites.
