Just read an article about this.  Which NFL player do you think is a complete dork?  This player may make you scratch you rhead and wonder what in the hell is he doing being an NFL player?

Jeff Garcia is my first pick.

Any others?

Not to beat on him while he is down but Tony Romo has a certain "Gomer Pyle" aspect to him

I'll give every poster that posted above cred in their statements.

Eli looks like the biggest dumbass in history, based on mannerisms.  Have you ever seen anybody with that type of facial expression as an NFL QB?

That said, I hope that dumb looking motherfucker QB's like circa 2000 Kerry Collins and brings home the bacon to the good fans of NY!  He's a better QB than Collins so I've got hope.

How about Hasselback?  That guy seems a bit strange.

Rivers from the Chargers seems more like the kid who called other kids names and then would run away only to meet his destiny on a long walk home from school weeks later.

It looks like the QB position seems to breed these perceived dorks.

As for Eli, my only hope is that he has the game of his life if he gets another crack at the Patriots.

Peyton Manning.

Former SD QB Stan Humphries always looked goofy. Huge cheeks, buck teeth, and a helmet two sizes too small.

Most QB's have an All American look. Jeff Garcia broke that mold. He has that Nosferatu/Wrong Turn mutant thing going on.

This is just wrong, even when you're a wealthy sports celeb...

Not just QBs but place kickers and punters too. The Grammatica brothers. Todd Sauerbrun.  Garo Yepremian.

Right on there Claw.  Those guys look, at minimum, mildly retarded.

I think she's a former GWF referee or ZZ Top drummer. You know, a beard.

If we're counting retired players, hands down it's Don Bebee. That dumbass double-helmet clinches it. If you have a sensitive melon, don't play football. He did punk out Leon "Trashbag" Lett, though.

I thought it was Tasker with the double helmet.

How about Neil O'Donnell? I still remember a Jim Rome rant about O'Donnell and his rat teeth.

Pretty sure it was Mark Kelso, I am sure LAF will correct us.

I googled it and it said Kelso and Beebe. After thinking about it some more I do remember Kelso but notsomuch Beebe. Okay, so Mark Kelso (and, maybe, Don Beebe as well) is the dorkiest NFL player for wearing that stupid "double helmet."

Again, if you're susceptible to brain injury, do not play pro football.

Kelso had the big-ass helmet. He's now the Bills radio game analyst.

Kelso, that's right.  He was a saftey or nickle wasn't he.  I used to get him and Tasker confused.  Tasker was the kick returner or a kick coverage guy, right?  Did he have a regular position too?
