Question for the HD people -  my TV is HD but I don't have any of the HD channels so do you think I'll notice much of a difference in tonight's show (besides the obvious changes in sets etc.)?

Also, how great would it be for HD if the first wrestler they show on Raw tonight is Snitsky?

"my TV is HD but I don't have any of the HD channels"

I'm in the same boat as GoGo.

My TV isn't HD.  I'm wondering if I'll notice a thing.

Maybe my DVR recording will be less pixelated.

I have no desire to get one simply because of all the footage I've collected.  I do enjoy watching the HD football, as that is killer.  Maybe when I replace my basement TV I'll get the mac-daddy.

Not only is RAW going HD, the Royal Rumble will
be the first WWE PPV event in HD.

I don't think that just because Raw is upgrading to HD techonology that it guarantees that HD TV owners will see it in HD.

I don't know about Canadian TV, but doesn't the local US cable provider determine whether the USA network is in available in HD for its customers?  I know that we have an "HD tier" on Suddenlink and I am not sure if USA has been added yet.  You have to pay for the tier.

You need to have the USA Network HD Channel feed via DirecTv or your cable system in order to get RAW in HD.

It looked a little sharper tonight than normal, brighter too. Although for the people with HD I definitely don't want to see Ashley in HD. Ugh, I don't know if its her hair, or the fact that she looks anorexic, but since she left Smackdown she looks like she aged 10 years.

A lot sharper, brighter, and clearer.  Definitely noticed a difference.  The new stage is ridiculously unnecessary tho.

I like the new stage, if for no other reason that the current RAW and Smackdown sets have been used forever and look dated as hell (especially when you watch RAW from 1997 on WWE 24/7 and it looks exactly the same) and the ECW set is something even ROH laughs at.

It will probably look lame seeing the same set on all 3 shows, but it's nice seeing something different for a change.

I agree with Ashley, she was already WWE anorexic, then lost all sorts of weight on Survivor. Now she looks like one of those women who are trying to reclaim lost youth by dressing like what they think a teenage slut dresses like.
