The top 3 pitchers of the decade are Mariano Rivera, Mariano Rivera, and Mariano Rivera.  Number 4 is Mariano Rivera.  Mariano Rivera barely edges out Mariano Rivera for the 5th spot.

But next is also Mariano Rivera.  And I don't know who's proven he's used steroids.  I can't even remember accusations about him.  It would be nice if we could have one baseball thread without it getting hijacked by a steroids discussion though.

I too would say Mariano Rivera, as he is the dominant closer in history.

Among starters, you make a compelling case for Randy Johnson.
Of course, he didn't perform up to snuff for the Yankees.:X

I think steroids are being smuggled in those panties.

    Just sayin'.

I'm not upset, it just seems that every discussion here centers on steroids and it never really goes anywhere.  The same people post the same things every time.  I tap out to the steroids accusations.  I'm more than willing to assume they're all on the juice and I don't give a shit.

Trust me - if there is one thing that Derek Jeter would want coming out of Mariano Rivera's panties it is definitely not steroids.

    Jeter likes "Bag Fluff"?

Very disturbing...no wonder he never married. That's like Troy McClure with his fish fetish.

Jeter is probably the single smartest athlete of our generation. He didn't get married and has lived a life of fantasy:
Play baseball for the Yankees, making outrageous money and be revered as the face of the franchise.

Make an equally outrageous amount in endorsement money.

Date/fuck the newest supermodels, miss universes, actresses, and movie stars that he wishes.

Any one of us would KILL to be that guy. You say you wouldn't, you're lying.

I think that Jeter is Baseball's version of Tom Cruise, a closet Homo.I'm not saying that anything is wrong with that, just saying.
