This is the guy you've always heard was great but you have never seen him wrestle either live in person or on video whether it be TV, VHS, DVD, youtube or whatever.

I'll need to this about this one for a bit. One wrestler that springs to mind right away is Ciclon Negro.

George Gordienko is another name that comes to mind. Still seeking the right answer. I'll keep thinking.

Definitely another great name. Adding him top my list. Still a tough call.

Talk about a match I'd pay to see. Tigerman in his prime vs Frank Gotch in his prime.

I think Pesek could take Gotch.  Except for a full Jim Browning match, Pesek is the person I'd most like to find a film of.  It's surprising that he wrestled through the 50's but I haven't even seen a clip of him in action.

I think so too. Pesek was more advanced.

I rate Pesek as my number two of all time.  He's one of guys you could move to any era and he would dominate.  He would have been a perfect fit for MMA as well.

I've seen a quick 30-second clip of Danny Hodge, which is little enough for me to say that he counts.

Never seen Wilbur Snyder, though some of his stuff is out there.

I have a gut feeling that he wouldn't at all live up to his rep, but I'd really like to see what Bert Assirati was actually like in the ring.

Never seen live... I won't say he's the best WRESTLER, but I never got to see Andre the Giant live, I always missed the show when he came through the area. I woulda liked to have seen him when he could move around the ring.

As far as never seen on video (outside of maybe a match or so that exists of each), a few names already mentioned would be right at the top of my list... Frank or Karl Gotch, Bill Longson, Hodge, I woulda also liked to have seen Whipper Billy Watson in his prime.

It's hard to say who the "best" is if you've never seen him.

I'm trying to think if I've ever actually seen David Von Erich wrestle on video.  I certainly haven't seen him in person.  I don't think I have, not being much of a World Class mark.  That's my answer, DVE.
