When did Larry Hennig debut? I found some 1958 matches for him which seem pretty early.

That was the year I think. Let me check.

It was 1957.

4/3/57 Mankato, MN
Ivan Kalmikoff & Karol Kalmikoff no contest Butch Levy & Johnny Rougeau
Jack Morgan (sub Johnny Foti) beat Joe Tomasso (sub Fritz Von Ulm)
Larry Hennig (sub Tomasso) beat Billy Wicks

From what I remember, Hennig wrestled in Arizona early on too. There's a thread about it on KM. I'll dig that up as well. Too lazy right now to look for Melby's record book on Larry Hennig.

1/14/58 Tuscon
Larry Hennig & Alex Perez beat Jack Terry & Juan Sebastian

1/27/58 Phoenix
Gene LeBell beat Larry Hennig

1/28/58 Tuscon
Chief Ava beat Larry Hennig

1/30/58 Mesa
Gene LeBell beat Larry Hennig
Gene LeBell & Chief Ava beat Larry Hennig & Juan Sebastian

2/1/58 Yuma
Ray Duran beat Larry Hennig

If you can add anything more Becky, it would be greatly appreciated. I'll get back to work on the record books on Wednesday. I needed a break for a few days.

I was tinkering with Arizona for 1958. Yuma and Tucson mainly.

The February 1 Yuma card was actually January 31. Yuma didn't have a Saturday newspaper, so results were printed on Sunday.
