All kinds of drama on the final games of the regular season but the field of sixteen is all set.

The NHL playoffs are traditionally one of the hardest to predict as the puck has been known to bounce kind of funny.

You tell us who gets to hoist Lord Stanley's cup and if you are correct you get to hoist a 24-7 DVD over your head and skate around the living room. Once a team is picked they have been selected and you are welcome to pick either your favorite local squad or whoever your head tells you has the best chance to win it.

Please select from (below)

Washington
Philly
Boston
Pittsburgh
Tampa Bay
Montreal
Buffalo
New York (Rangers)
Vancouver
San Jose
Detroit
Anaheim
Nashville
Phoenix
Los Angeles
Chicago

With injuries and teams picking the playoffs to decide to choke this season seems incredibly more difficult to predict than other seasons.

I should say Vancouver because they were the best in the regular season. Chicago as defending champs who will have to get by the Nucks in the 1st round. Pittsburgh, nope too many injuries. Washington, a little inconsistent and can't decide on 1 goalie and can't play 3 of them at a time. San Jose? Don't make me laugh! The winner of Boston/Montreal in the 1st round?

Philly vs Anaheim in the final with the Flyers winning it!
Why not?

The Kings, because it gets the Oilers an extra first round draft pick.

Are you sure about that ????  According to TSN ( http://www.tsn.ca/tradecentre/story/?id=355857 ) the Oilers received a Colten Teubert, a 2011 1st round pick and a condional 2012 3rd round pick which would be upgraded to a 2nd round pick if the Kings made the playoffs this season.

San Jose. Two in a row for Niemi. Late to the party. Would have picked Boston.

You're right, I was watching the documentary "Oil Change" (an ongoing series about the Oilers this season, airs on TSN) and thought I heard "and a 1st in 2012 if LA wins the cup" but upon re watching the episode they say "a 2nd if they with the cup" which has since changed to a second in 2012 if they make the playoffs, which they did.

You were probably just a little shook up that I picked Boston before you could.

I'll take Chicago since Clawmaster wanted no part of them of the defending champs and Khawk (Blackhawks fan) also has jumped ship before the playoffs even started

FWIW the bookie's odds

Vancouver and Washington are the favorites. They lead the league in points but also history tells us these two franchises haven't won a damn thing ever.

Vancouver 3-1

Washington 5-1

Philly 7-1

San Jose 7-1

Detroit 8-1

Pittsburgh 10-1

Tampa Bay 15-1

Chicago 20-1

Anaheim 20-1

LA 25-1

Buffalo 25-1

Montreal 30-1

Nashville 30-1

Phoenix 30-1

Rangers 35-1

I guess that Boston is just so good that they won't even give any odds on them.  :D

Gimme Buffalo, then. I'll let LAF complain about them for me after the first round.

The great thing about LAF is even if they pull the upset in the first round he'll still complain about them

LOL...If you change "Chris Osgood" to "Darcy Regier", his Sabre rants become a coherent version of a stingmark tirade. :D

PM Hammetime and get his list. We do a ton more "DVD giveaways" now then when I used to do them for the site and back then I used to personally PM and/or email the winners a list but I can't imagine Hammetime having the time to keep track of the various pool winners given the amount of this stuff that we do.

Do I get the disc directly from hammettime or do they go to a MOD here and then onto me ???  I have his list from trading over at Crazy Max so I already know what I want.
