Heenan & Cornette

Watching the old NWA's WCW on 24/7...seeing him at his prime show how good Cornette was

I would have to say Captain Lou...he had some monster heels and HE was scary and unpredictable...one minute he'd be calm, lucid and even intelligent, then he would go off the deep end...he reminded me of a crazy uncle you couldn't trust...plus he wrestled all the time at MSG and would cut himself to ribbons

I liked the calm demeanor and then the freak out as well.  His work in 1979 with the Valiants was just hilarious.

'70s to '83 Lou was definitely one of my favorites. One of the reason he went from calm to crazy on the local Tv promos was because they would tape those spots for hours, and Lou would start drinking and be drunk by the end.

Heenan, Cornette and J.J. Dillon were my faves...pretty much in that order too.

Wild Red Berry......His speaking style, outfit, cane and ability to bump.Whether he was managing Monsoon or Mortier, the Kangaroos or Monsoon and Tanaka ,having his men go for Bruno's belt throughout the WWWF territory,he was always entertaining.
