I don't know about this trade for Zona.Looks like they are trading disappointing secondbasemen and Zona just got
McDonald as a throw in.
I rather have Kelly Johnson. He always is a R threat.

Johnson's better than the other guy

Arizona was trotting out Willie Bloomquist on a regular basis at SS. Johnny Mac isn't great but he's still an improvement.

LOL! Thome is desperately trying to work things out so he can play for the Phils. It doesn't look likely based on all the rules involved.

Pretty sure that the Twins could just release Thome and He would be able to sign with anyone.

I think he losses over a million dollars if that happens. I hope they get him. We need a power left handed batter off the bench and if we make the series he would be a good DH in the AL park.

They could, but the events would be shady and against the "spirit of the rules." I watched a discussion about it, and it could happen, but would be frowned upon.

It happens all the time in the NBA.

I rather have Kelly Johnson. He always is a HR threat.

Zona contacted the Jays about McDonald. Hill is the throw in.

Jays better hope they can re-sign Johnson, since they have nothing in the minors at 2b, and the FA pickings stink.

Anthopoulos isn't afraid to trade, so if it comes to that, he will trade in the off-season for a 2B.

I wouldn't be surprised if McDonald ended up back with the Jays in the off-season...he is a UFA, as I remember.
