When he came back to WWF in 1984 he had not been on Fla TV for quite some time iir. House of Humperdink had fizzled for some months, and JJ Dillon had the villain stable by late 83.

Goulet showed up as a heel. The announcers made reference to him being around, and that he was "a veteran" but nothing I could recall about him having a 'change of heart.' In fact many at my school were surprised to hear he had been a fan fave in WWF in his previous stint.

June 1974, when he entered the WWA. He formed the Legionnaires with Pvt. Don Fargo later in 1974. In April, 1975 Soldier Zarinoff LeBeouf replaced Pvt. Fargo. From that point on, Goulet was known as Jacques Goulet almost everywhere he competed, except for the WWF where he still known as Rene Goulet.
