We're at that time of year where the Thursday night games are kicking in.

We open the weekend with Oakland at San Diego. There's a three-way logjam of mediocrity at the top of the AFC West (worst?) with the Chargers, Raiders and Chiefs all at 4-4. Winner takes a half game lead.

Moving on to Sunday we'll find out if the Bengals are for real as they host the Steelers. Can the Colts get their first win?  Could be a good spot for them as the offensively inept Jacksonville Jags invade town. Undoubtedly though the top 1:00 game is New Orleans at Atlanta.

Later in the afternoon we find the Giants at San Fran (very interesting) and Detroit at Chicago.  The Sunday night prime time game is New England at the Jets. Monday night on paper looks to be a mismatch (GB-Minny) but it's a divisonal rivalry and Minny will run the ball and play tough defense so anything can happen.

Your picks, fantasy moves, opinions, comments before, during and after the games we do all that. Bookies odds from the Vegas Hilton. If you're in the "Pick Em Pool" remember that the Thursday games are starting now.

Oakland at San Diego (7)
Pittsburgh (3) at Cincy
Denver at Kansas City (3)
Jacksonville (3) at Indy
Buffalo at Dallas (5.5)
Houston (3) at Tampa Bay
Tennessee at Carolina (3)
Washington at Miami (3.5)
New Orleans at Atlanta (Pk)
Detroit at Chicago (3)
St Louis at Cleveland (2.5)
Arizona at Philly (14)
Baltimore (6.5) at Seattle
NY Giants at San Fran (3.5)
New England at NY Jets (1.5)
Minnesota at Green Bay (13.5)

Fuck! I can't catch a break. I lost Andre Johnson and Miles Austin to injury, so I picked up Jacoby Ford, and he went down tonight.

Mercifully, it's over, 44-7. It's the first time this season the Bills have lost
2 in a row.

Great defense by the 49ers all game, epsecially in the 20s.

As a Giants fan, I'm pissed Glbride once again fucks up and takes the ball out of Eli's hands running a draw on 3rd and 2, then waiting 20 seconds to get the fucking play in at the end so the 2 timeouts were meaningless.  Not taking anything away from the 9ers, just pissed at my own coaching staff really.  Nice play by Justin Smith at the end.

Kevin killdrive strikes again everybody and their grandma knew he was going to run a draw on 3 and 2 if you want to run the ball line up put ELi under center and run the ball fuck man the 49ers sniffed it the last 5 times you did why don't you try it again when they are expecting it. Man he killdrive annoys me sometimes.

Why do teams still kick to devin hester

Eagles remaining games

@ Giants
NE
@Seattle
@Miami
Jets
@Dallas
Washington

Let's say they win 4/7 (I'll say they lose to Giants, NE and either Jets or Dallas) That'll take them to 7-9.

Reid's only had 2 losing seasons. His first year he was 5-11 and in 2005 he was 6-10, but that year had Mcnabb injured almost 1/2 the season.

This year the team was supposed to be loaded, and now they're going to have to pull of a huge run just to get to .500. Reid's been around since 1999...and if he can't motivate this team to be better than mediocre, in a shitty division this year, then maybe it's time he does go.

A guy over at The Jets board I post at put this game (and pretty much all their losses the last couple seasons) into perspective tonight:

The Jets playing "their kind of game"

Means the defense keeping it close as long as they can, and the offense sucking cock for meth.

:D:D:D

Total disgrace. I'm embarrassed to be a Jets fan right now. I'm so fed up with this team's offense right now. This is probably the most pissed I've been at one of our losses since The Rex Ryan era began.

I know he deserves praise for today I just wanted to see if he got any. Most of you guys here hate the Cowboys so you tend to all disappear when he plays well but you all definitely have something to say when he has a bad game.

Romo played great and The Bills once again were exposed as pretenders. LAF predicted the Bills would get squashed earlier in the thread. With The Giants losing, dem Cowboys are only a game behind.

The score doesn't reflect it but The Bears offense played like shit and the Lions defense played very well. It was the fumbles, interceptions and Devin Hester that beat Detroit. Thank you Matthew Stafford, Calvin Johnson and Nate Burleson. Da Bears now have four consecutive games against the AFC West starting with San Diego next week.

I believe in Green Bay and San Francisco but nobody else. Difficult to say what team I'd rank number three in a power poll. Hell the way things are going this year, Minnesota could shock the world and beat Green Bay Monday night. I wouldn't bet on it but you never know ...

Last week on one of Toronto's all sports radio stations, there was a tout predicting
the Bills would win by 17 points. Hilarious. What the heck was he smoking ?

Tebow did good yesterday, and he didn't take as many hits either, which is a good thing in Denver, if he keeps it up, he might play an entire season next year.

Romo was impressive yesterday, I just wonder if he can keep it up though.  He has been streaky before

Bears Offensive Guard Chris Williams out foe the season with a dislocated wrist. With rookie Offensive Tackle Gabe Carimi still sidelined from knee surgery, The Bears are mighty thin on the offensive line.

21-7 in the 2nd Q.

LOL, after Nelson scores the TD, he gives the ball to his cheerleader girlfriend.

Someone put this on youtube.

Another Ho Hum evening so far for Rodgers. With 6 minutes left in the 3rd he's 20/25, 238, 3td's and no picks.

Rodgers with his 4th TD. So you know he can't be compared to Romo, since it's been 4 years since Tony managed to get 4td's in a game.

LOL, right. Lets not even add Rodgers has a SB ring, and his team is currently 8-0(soon to be 9-0), and Romo's team sux.:tongue:

And that Romo is the single worst choke artist I've ever seen in the NFL playoffs.
