This is a guy so inept he couldn't get laid in a room full of hookers if he had a fistfull of $100's.

No more bubble screens on 2nd and 10,no more draws on 3rd and 15,no more 5 wide sets on 3rd and inches,no more settling for 3 points on 1st and goals, goodbye and good riddance Bruce!!!

I should have included coordinators in the fired pool. Will do that next year.

I am stunned by the atmosphere today.  It was like playoff time or the Super Bowl.  I was getting texts all day long since the news broke and people in the stores, at work and on the street are rejoicing with the firing of Arians.  The guy was a total arrogant ass.

Maybe no SB run this year, but the Steelers Nation is rejoicing!  Big Ben is probably pissssssed!

Caldwell, Haley and Clements have ties to the Burgh.

How good could have the Steelers been if they actually had someone who knew WTF he was doing in that position?

Arians was the worse thing to happen to the Pittsburgh Steelers since the Joe Walton days.

He was worse than Walton.   Arians had all the weapons and a pop gun of an offense.

They just showed on the news that some Steelers website is playing "Happy Days Are Here Again" continuously with the news of Arians getting the boot.

Not to wizz on anyone's parade but the offense was the way it was because Ben wanted it that way. Bruce was just the guy to throw under the bus when things didn't work out.

You are correct to an extent.   I think Art II, aka The Hammer, has just established this is his team.  This is a good thing and will produce change.

The chain runs like this

Rooneys
Ben
Tomlin

It will be interesting to see how Ben reacts,  and if has matured enough to accept change.  Arians was the lap dog.  Whatever Ben wanted, he got.  That high-flying aerial assault in games high winds * bad weather and during games when rushing plays were netting 6.1 yards per carry are over.  They will rely heavy on the pass, but it will be reigned in most definitely.

I met Arians.  He was a self-absorbed ass.

This was more of a stand-off between the front office and Ben.   The message from the front office was "Your way is not working."

Wow. Never knew that he was so dispised in Pittsburgh. Normally hear how people want new coordinaters but not from pittsburgh.

Yes, Benlen, this has been building for quite some time (3-4 years).   This was basically a shot against Ben, but people were fed up with the pass-happy offense despite the weather or what the defense was giving the Steelers.

Thank gosh we may have finally seen the end of the bubble screens.

I hope not either, he is horrible. He sucked at Wake Forest and he showed when he had to coach at Indy, he sucked there too.

To be fair, he only had 1 year in Indy as head coach, the other two it was Peyton as head coach

I have not seen anything outstanding in his prior jobs.

Josh McDaniels is looking for a gig. The Rams hired Brian Schottenheimer to replace McDaniels as offensive coordinator.

I knew the divorce of Ben from Arians was going to become ugly.
