Yep, Garcon was the best receiver the Colts had this past year.  I hate to see him go because he made some spectacular plays.  But he also had some inconsistent hands and drops.

I don't know why in the world Stingmark keeps talking about Peyton to the Redskins.  He isn't going there.  He has already said that he has no interest in that team.  They aren't even on his radar.

Wayne re-signing with the Colts is good news for us Colts fans.  Hopefully, he'll be a good veteran WR for Luck to work with.  I just hope they upgrade that position in the draft as well, because Blair White is too small and Collie is so injury prone.

Meachem signs with the Chargers for a hell of a lot less than Jackson got with the Bucs.  He's also younger.  Could be a good deal for them.

And Niners are looking to add another deep threat by interviewing Brandon Lloyd.

I think Peyton to Denver is almost a lock. Arizona owes Kolb a $7 Million Roster Bonus if He's still on the Team on Saturday and Peyton really isn't in a rush to make a decision. Crazy thought, what about Peyton to Chicago? Great Defense, just traded for Marshall and it's very close to Indy. I don't know the Cap situation with Culter and the Bears, but could it happen?

Nah, no interest from the Bears.  They like Cutler a lot, and that's a big reason why they brought Marshall in as he was Cutler's go to in Denver.

It's been said that if Peyton didn't take the Miami spot, that they'd shoot for Matt Flynn.  But he's not scheduled to meet with them, instead opting to meet with Seattle.

Meanwhile, Calvin Johnson just reached an extension with the Lions for 7 years, worth $132M.  $60M of which is guaranteed.  It's the single richest contract in NFL history.

Carl Nicks and Eric Wright to Tampa.  Say what you want, but with them signing V Jax and now these two coupled with Richardson and I see Tampa being a much improved team.  I hate to see Nicks go. It seems the Saints wanted to keep him but such is life in the NFL.  They say the Saints wanted to keep both their Pro Bowl Guards but if they could only keep one it would be Evans.  They say Nicks has more of a diva attitude and that they are worried about his ability to control his weight.  They don't have those issues with Evans.   Still, he formed one hell of a tandem with Evans.

Robert Meachem signs with the Chargers.  I hate to see him leave but he and Devery Henderson are pretty much interchangeable.  I think he has the talent to be a good number one option plus he feels a need  for the Chargers.

The Niners resigned Carlos Rogers.  Rogers finally looks like the first round pick he was.  That Niners D is pretty stout.

And Brandon Carr signs with the Cowboys.  5 years, $50.1M

And the Bengals lost both of their starting DE's.  Fanene signed with NE and Rucker signed with the Browns.

Because they kept talking about it on the radio & it seemed like a good fit for the Manning/Wayne combo. Unless he signs elsewhere, all the teams are still pretty much in play.

Sure, and Sting's still in play to go to WWE.

He's not going to the Redskins.  He's said he's not.  They traded up for RGIII because they know that.

If your logic works in your mind for the whole Sting thing, why can't you wrap your head around this?

And Warriors still in good w/ Vince & will be in the WWEHOF soon.

In my mind(&Stings) he didnt sign w/ the WWE. Those were rumors(kinda like now w/Manning).

Lol, getting pissed @ me b/c they kept talking about Manning going to a bunch of different places on the radio & I just passed it on here, makes me legit lol.

Thanks for overreacting again, you should call the radio station who talked about it(& ESPN who talked about it) & bitch to them.

Lol, thats classic.

That's a lot of coin but you knew the Cowboys were gonna shore up their secondary via Free Agency when they cut Terrance Newman yesterday. CBS Sports had Carr listed as the 3rd best Free Agent available after Manning and Mario Williams. I wonder if this will change the Cowboys plan of taking CB Dre Kirkpatrick at # 14 in the upcoming draft.

 I don't get this at all as I thought Stephen McGee was now ready to become the backup in Dallas. But I guess Jerry Jones felt that they needed a veteran guy to be the # 2 QB. CBS Sports had Orton rated at the 69th best Free Agent available and I think that's appropriate since I feel that this signing really sucks.

EDIT: Jesus H. Christ - I just read that Orton was signed to a 3 year deal !!!!!!!  One year was bad enough but now we got him for 3 years. :X

meh, Orton is serviceable as a back-up. I thought they did ok on that deal.

You want to talk bad deals? THIS is a bad deal:

The Jaguars and Laurent Robinson agreed to a five-year, $32.5 million contract Wednesday evening, giving the team a much-needed splash in free agency. The deal includes $14 million guaranteed.

The Cowboys picked up Robinson of the Chargers scrap heap last year because they needed a third receiver. He put up decent numbers because most defenses the Boys played were keying on Dez, Austin, and Witten. He certainly isn't worth #1 reciever money. Jacksonville gave him more guaranteed money than Philly gave Jackson.
