Anybody else think that he will not spend more than 3 months in jail ???? Just wait until Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson jump on the " Free Wesley " bandwagon.

I really think this whole anti-celebrity thing has gotten ridiculous. Jealous cunts will continue to cheer as they sit in their trailors watching "Entertainment Tonight", but just like Paris Hilton and Martha Stewart they're deciding to give celebrities harsher treatment than the average Joe. Let the guy pay what he needs to pay and stop clogging our jails and wasting court resources on this bullshit. The rest of us who actually do pay our taxes our the ones paying for these carnival sideshows that aren't actually making society safer for anyone. I now return you all to your original knee-jerk reactions...

We wind up spending money to keep Martha Stewart in Girl Scout camp. They could have fined her a million dollars and done something useful with the money.

They should've just given him a big ass fine, order to pay the back taxes and some community service. At least then he'd be contributing instead draining society. What a waste. The difference between this case an the Hollywood Hoes is that, in those instances, they were OWIs, which can actually cause bodily harm. White collar crime doesn't warrant a 3-year stint in minimum security prison.

Now does he have the opportunity to appeal the conviction and how much time will he actually do in the prison down there before being let out on parole?

the worst thing is that I could not file for easily twice as long as Snipes did and they wouldnt care because I dont make any money. A side note is that there really is no law that says you have to pay income tax and it is unconstitutional. <object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/GKePl2gW_3M&hl=en" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object> <object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/E7Qv_j-Y0nE&hl=en" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object> <object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/gjBXQSTQYSc&hl=en" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object> Last edited on Sat Apr 26th, 2008 08:22 pm by Isys Ephex |

I agree, but there will no be a court decision that does because they know where there bread is buttered.
