Claw posted this link on another board and I have to admit that I did not know these books all existed. I know there is Georgiann Makropolus' "Bruno Sammartino Record Book" out there also (not sure if she still prints this)

I got into (Scott Teal's) MSG results book because I always wondered things like "Well who did win that match between Chief Jay Strongbow & Ken Patera at MSG?" ~ but really a few different territories are covered as well. The book had pictures of posters advertising upcoming matches as well.

Not sure if the guys contributing results here have books or just web sites but certainly an opportunity for them as well to let us know what is out there.

I have all those record books. Highly recommended .

Jim Melby sold a bunch of record books in the past but Melby died not too long ago. So the books obviously are no longer for sale.

Steve Yohe publishes record books from time to time. He can be reached by PM at WC or KM or you can email Steve at Stevedyohe@aol.com if you want to ask about his record books.

Mark Eastridge aka clip corner on several boards is selling JCP clippings from 1968 to 1979 on CDs. PM clip corner at KM for info.

Ron Witmer (quasi) doesn't sell record books or clippings but is always kind enough to let people look at some of his clippings on his website if you ask. The most recent clippings up on Ron's site are from Bridgeport, CT from 1959, 1963 and 1964.

Time for my shameless plug, lol. My site has the weekly cards/results for the Memphis Wrestling matches. It covers 1962 thru 1989. I did collect 1970 thru 1985 and put it in book form, (8 1/2 by 11, over 300 pages). It's in soft cover, hard cover & downloadable.

To look at (or buy) the book: http://www.lulu.com/memphiswrestling

mj99   It is not a shameless plug.  It is a worthwhile investment.

Georgianne's Bruno book was quite an undertaking for its time (pre-internet). Not sure if she worked directly with Bruno on it or not. I've been able to compile much more than what was in her original book and am always in the process of updating my database. I just need to get it all together and post it up somewhere.

Mark now has Crockett clippings on CD for sale going all the way back to 1962. He also has clippings on CD for many other territories and even clippings from numerous territories from 1967 to 1970. If you are looking to purchase clippings, Mark is the man. Mark is one of my main sources.

Not as much for the results, but if you enjoy researching the clippings like I do, then I would highly recommend any of the Florida Mat Wars books by Rob VanKavelaar. These books are tremendous. I have 1958, 1971 and 1975 editions.

I've been trading clippings with him recently, and he has great stuff. I also have a large collection of clippings which I am willing to trade. I post a lot of the old clips over on KM as well. I'm in the process of researching the entire year of 1950 right now. It's a great way to learn about the history of the mat game.

Doug,

Good to see you finally got in touch with Bobby. His Florida Mat Wars books are terrific.

About 1992 with an update around 1994. It was a pretty good book for its day being she had to gather all the results without the help of the interweb.
