Not at all surprised. Anyone who thought the NFL wasn't feeling the pressure after that call in particular is kidding themselves. The NFL takes themselves way too seriously to be okay with being laughed at, no matter how much money they're making. What they paid is a drop in the bucket to restore some integrity and goodwill.
Funny thing is, both sides conceded to each other, which should have happened before the season started.
