Curhser vs. Mad Dog is probably the answer. I've only seen the bits of video available for it, though..those that saw it can weigh in better.

Verne vs. Nick and High Flyers vs. Adonis and Ventura are probably tied for my top pick of the stuff I grew up with.

1 Crusher vs Mad Dog
2 Verne vs Nick
3 Hennig & Race vs Bruiser & Crusher- Didn't see this feud but was told it was awesome.
4 High Flyers vs East West Connection
5 Verne Gagne vs Billy Robinson
6 Superstar Graham vs Wahoo

After that, there's a lot of personal preference involved. In my mind, the Bruiser & Crusher vs Mad Dog and Butcher feud was an extension of the Crusher vs Mad Dog feud. I consider them the same feud.

A few of my personal favorites not listed in the poll.

Hogan vs Bockwinkel
Hogan vs Saito & Shults
SBG & Dusty Rhodes vs Baron Von Raschke & Horst Hoffman
Dino Bravo vs Super Destroyer Mark II
Bockwinkel & Stevens vs Rhodes & Murdoch

We didn't see that much of The Crusher-Mad Dog feud in Chicago in singles matches but we saw the tag version of The Vachons vs The Crusher & The Bruiser.
That's #1 in my book as far as matches I did get to see.

1. Crusher & Bruiser vs The Vachons
2. Crusher & Bruiser vs Hennig & Race
3. Verne Gagne vs Billy Robinson

When it comes down to Chicago only though it's hands down it's Bruiser vs Bobby Heenan's family from 1966 until whenever Heenan left for good.

I think it would be Bockwinkel. Slaughter was a huge disappointment in the AWA.

This is the era I started watching.
I'd add:
Blackwell vs. Brody, Abdullah, & Sheik
Ventura & Saito (Blackwell) vs. Crusher and Von Raschke (Vachon)

Good little feud, this one. Short but intense.
