Have you picked this book up?

http://www.admiralent.net/strap.html

Looks interesting. Always bought into the "Missouri title is a stepping stone to the NWA title" thing when I was a kid.

First I heard of it (saw the link on the KM board) so just wondering if anyone has any feedback.

The author Roger Deem aka Old Ringsider on KM was nice enough to comp me a copy of the book. The book is very good. I don't know ChrisStL's last name but I think he's quoted in the book. So are Darla from KM, Harry White, George Schire, Tim Hornbaker, Larry Matysik and many others familiar with the St. Louis wrestling scene. Plenty of wrestlers are quoted as well.

The book traces the history of the Missouri State Title. Details on every Missouri State Title match held in St. Louis. Probably the best book on St. Louis wrestling so far because it offers views others than the ones held by Larry Matysik.

I read it also has pics of every MO champ as well. Sounds pretty cool. Just started the Montreal book so once that one is done I'll look into buying this.

Looks great, and I have some relatives who'd get a kick out of this, but postage to the UK turns it into something a bit too expensive.
