Apologies of this is already listed, and it probably is, but can anyone list all of Bruno's matches after 1981 when he had his original legit retirement?  Don't think there's too many but he was still making special appearances at house shows will into the Hulkamania era and watching the YouTube match that Infamous posted, there are some out there I still don't know about or completely forgot.

So Bruno hasn't lost a match since 1980 by anything other than countout or DQ.  And even then I think I only counted three losses since he retired.  Wow.  They didn't make him look like an ass when he came back, that's for sure.

Found one more, plus photos

7/1/87 - Newmarket, Ontario - Bruno Sammartino defeated Honky Tonk Man

I'd bet there were other Ontario house shows from this week where Bruno subbed for Jake Roberts to face Honky also

Bruno Sammartino was a commentator on Superstars for the WWF as late as two weeks before Wrestlemania IV in March of 1988. By then Vince McMahon and Jesse Ventura were calling the match and Bruno would just call the post match replay, seeming less and less interested in the proceedings which was his true feelings. After leaving the WWF, he stated that he didn't want to have those mid 1980s matches, but did so in part because they kept dangling a push for David as the reward. That David was fired for hitting a taunting fan less than a week before Bruno quit hardly seems coincidental. I get the feeling the WWF figured it could still get some matches out of Bruno and had things turned out differently, a retirement match tour would have been held in the Northeast markets instead of him quietly fading away as an active wrestler.
