Duggan was inducted back in 2011 if memory serves.

Other "locals" for consideration:

Danny Hodge- I think he still drives to every event he's a part of.  Perry to NOLA is "only" a day's drive for him.

One Man Gang-  More gimmickry than legendary but he's not a long-winded guy; someone who would, along with Hodge, likely keep it short and allow more time for the Michael Hayes show.  They have enough OMG and Akeem footage over 3 years to focus on his WWE time alone.

General Skandor Akbar-  His sum is greater than its parts with Devastation Inc. but he could get one stellar induction speech if Jim Ross was permitted to do it.

Jake Roberts-  Perhaps the highest name on the bucket list now; a headline personality they are likely rooting for a successful comeback thru the DDP program.

I can see The Freebirds and Jake Roberts as the main eventers, with Mr. Wrestling II, One Man Gang, Steve Williams, and Danny Hodge underneath.  If they need another big name, they can hold off DX until next year.  It's a shame so many of the top Mid-South guys are already in.

Obviously, you never say never, but word from Gang himself is that Vince has never forgiven him for walking out on the company during his last run with them.

I could certainly see Danny Hodge as their random guy that never worked for WWF much but deserves recognition.

Headliner wise, I see someone or a faction from the Attitude era as the top pick with the Mid-South guys serving as the potatoes for that meal.

Gang was in the "Gimmick Battle Royal" at WM 17 so they can't hate him that much.

Later,
Nate

Forgot all about Duggan already being in.
Not that it would disqualify him, but Akbar passed away a few years ago.

The Akbar choice would be fitting if managers' contributions outside of WWE are recognized.  Again, for time purposes, the induction speech if done by JR would constitute the bulk of the segment, and a posthumous acceptance by his family would be a modest conclusion.  Any video package they'd show would augment Ross' glowing respect for his old traveling companion.

The new line is "The WWE HOF is a joke with James Dudley in, because everyone knows that D-Von was the only good black Dudley."

Shawn Michaels has tweeted a bit about starting his career in Mid-South so he's excited about WM being in NOLA next year, so might be another reason to hold off a DX induction a year.

Says you....James Dudley put that starch in Mr. Mac Mahon's shirt collars just the way he liked it. Didn't give him alot of backtalk about it either.

Stop spreading rumors.  Dudley was McMahon's chauffeur, and damn lucky to get such a plum assignment since the rest of his family had to work the fields.  You have any idea how hard it is to find cotton in NY, DC, and CT?
