Braves-very optimistic.

Awesome avatar by the way.

(Elvis voice): Thank you very much.

Unfortunately, I take no pleasure in the shitshow that my team has become. They fucking blow from top to bottom and it's due to lack of competency and rewarding lap dogs. The guys running the Yankees are fucking clueless about how to draft and develop. I wish they'd hire a Stick Michael-type again!

Not me. I want to see them suck royally. They could go 0 and 162 and I would be pissed that some games were close.

REDS.   Darn right I'm optimistic, I really do believe that they were the best team in baseball last year and that the Giants got lucky to beat them, but it is what it is.

I think this might be the year they win it all, and that;s not being a homer about things, I really do believe it.

Agree completely.

X3...feel that this really could be the year the Reds put it all together.

As pessimistic as I've been about the Yankees since 1991.  Almost hope they finish last so that real changes have to be made next year.

Orioles - last year they were the "comeback kids", often being down late in the game only to come back to win it in the 9th or later - they were dominant in extra inning games. I am really optimistic since they don't lose many players from last year's squad.

Nationals - many are saying the Nats have the best pitching staff in baseball. Now if they could just get the bats to back them up.

I'm willing to bet they don't finish last. Their pitching, both starters and bullpen, is too good. The Red Sox truly suck and they are far more likely finish in last.

Blue Jays. Pessimistic about every position & the pitching staff.
I think they'll finish last, but every team in the AL East will play
.500 ball or better. A real dog fight in the East this yeart.

Agree with this. Boston is a true mess.

I'm still sticking to this and bet a friend of mine (Philly fan) that the Yankees will have a better end of season record than the Phillies. Yankees can only get better. The Phillies are at their peak now except for Halladay, and injuries are awaiting...

I'm optimistic that the Brewers will finish above the Cubs. That's about it.
