WWE.com:

WWE has come to terms on the release of SmackDown Superstar Chris Masters. We wish Chris the best in all his future endeavors.

Clearly a case of Masters being fired at WWE's choice after strike 2 so that Vince wouldn't have to admit that someone was forced to be let go due to strike 3 in the Wellness policy.

His gimmick was that he had to be ripped beyond all belief ~ right? (I watch very sparingly and have only seen him a couple times)

As bad as he was, the Masterlock challenge reminded me of the old days with the Persian Club Challenge, The Cobra Clutch Challenge and all the other great challenges that they had.  Probably the only thing I'd flip through to watch at the time.

It was really funny the first week he came back after his last suspension he was noticably smaller so when he was putting the Masterlock on the much larger Chuck Palumbo it looked ridiculous. The next week he looked a lot bigger for some reason. Hmmmm.
