My parents always said "no".

I imagine it was a total cash cow for WCW. Virtually no cost involved (just record a message each day) and I think there was quite a  market for "inside information".

I never called the WCW hotline but I called "Blackjack Brown" or something like that once. Got his number out of a mag or maybe it was a newspaper ad.

Used to call the Coach Kurt line in Chicago for i think 50 cents a pop back in the day. He would have tv taping results on Tuesday nights. It was pretty cool to hear who was debuting in the WWF weeks before it aired (holy shit...dibiase ....or whoever).

i used to know this tape trader who once traded tapes for the back door code to the wcw hotline. gave it to me. it was utter shit. nothing good. they ripped people off.

Anyone remember when GCW actually had a phone line for the day after Omni events that gave Omni results?    Wasnt even 900 it was just an Atlanta 404 number
