well, dibiase obviously went farther.  he was much better on the mike.  i always enjoyed windham more, and feel if his 89 wwf run, albeit without the widowmaker gimmick, would have lasted, this could be a different argument.  one thing for dibiase, he never came back with sill reincarnations, ie-west texas rednecks, new blackjacks.

I don't think it's even close. Dibiase had much more impact on the business for a longer time. I didn't love the Million Dollar Man character as much as some, but his St. Louis, Mid South and Georgia work was great. His tag team with Doc Williams was one of the best of the 80s.

Always enjoyed Dibiase over Windham due to His Mid-South/UWF stuff and from His 2 times in Georgia.

Dibiase also had natural charisma on TV. while it seemed like Windham struggled alot until he turned Heel.

Windham

DiBiase was great, but I never liked the MD Man gimmick. Too cartoony for my taste. Then when he was a tag champion with IRS their gimmick became run away and lose by count out. C'mon at least cheat and win.

Hell of a good question and I dont think there is a WRONG answer. Barry's peak was better IMO but given how the entire career played out for both....I give the nod to DiBiase

Oh man, this is a tough one. Two of the best I've ever seen. Dibiase could carry anyone and was at his very best in Mid-South. I'd give him the edge in carrying lesser opponents. Windham was just tremendous all around and his matches with Flair were some of Ric's best. These two against each other would've been awesome. As far as a total package, I'd say almost equal on the wrestling. Dibiase was more of a charachter and drew more $. I personally am a bigger fan of Windham. I can't really pick.

This should have been structured as a poll question. While close in ring, I give the nod to DiBiase. I saw his initial run in the WWWF and while he didn't exhibit any mike skills in those days, he was great in the ring. I also liked his work in GCW and Mid-South.

The Million Dollar Man was a cartoon character but he hit a home run with it.

Windham was good but I always thought he needed others and really wasn't a headliner himself. JMO.
