Crazy ass shit. My family was in Arlington earlier this Summer and road the New Texas Giant for the first time. The eye witness quotes are unreal.

Wow. I am a coaster enthusiast and have been on the fastest and largest coasters in the world except for the ones in Japan. That story scared the shit out of me. I have had the feeling of not being strapped in properly several times. It was always nothing. I just can't imagine what that must have been like for her.

I feel the same. My whole family are RC riders. We have a trip planned to Fiesta Texas in San Antonio in a few weeks to ride the Iron Rattler, which is the same type of coaster as the New Texas Giant (Wooden Hybrid) and my wife and I are really shaken up. I cannot imagine how the young boy, her son, riding beside her felt.

About 10 yrs ago the Six Flaggs by my house there was a guy decapitated . He was in line and the wind blew his baseball cap off his head. It flew over a wire fence. He climbed the fence to retrieve it when the ride came by. A metal seat hit his head at about 70mph knocking his head off. Must have been one gruesome sight for the people in line.

The Intimidator at Carowinds never fastens securely the first time the "attendants"  come by to "secure" you. Every time I rode it last summer we had to stop them to check it and never was secure. SOunds like what happened to her. Lady in line mentioned her restraint not clicking but once and the attendants never checking her again. Morons too busy getting as many trains in and out as possible.
