from wrestling observer newsline:

NXT star Xavier Woods is scheduled to become a regular on WWE TV soon. WWE dropped the Big Show petition angle he was involved in so they're waiting for a new storyline reason to have Woods debut. As noted before, WWE sees Woods as a great PR representative for the company because of his educational background.

This guy doesn't appreciate the comparison.

And the Confederate flag right there

LOL I just love how some people just don't give a fuck, no matter where they are or what year it is or how the rest of the world thinks or how outdated something is

That picture was taken at one of the fanfests here in NC, the "flag" I am sure was part of his Freebird Gimmick. Wow, some people.

That's why I chose that particular pic.  Too good to resist, especially in a comparison to Xavier Woods.  I imagine that it is him wearing his gimmick though, although I have no idea what his personal beliefs are.  But the Freebirds often went to the ring waving a Confederate flag.

Who would've thought that in TNA at the time he was there that he'd be the guy that WWE signed and got behind..

Yeah, some people

Gimmick or not, the overall connotations far outweigh putting it on a fucking T shirt in 2013

1983 when the Birds wore Confederate makeup was one thing- and that was bad enough

2013?  Please
