A Seattle date has already been announced by a venue, and Joan Jett & The Blackhearts will be opening for the other 3.

They're really playing the oversaturation game with Joan Jett as the fourth band. Except for Crue of course these guys have been out every summer for the past three years at least. Personally I think this show is developing into an exercise in endurance. Go to setlist.fm and pick any of these bands setlists from the last 5 years and there you are. I was leaning towards going to this before but now I think it's going to be a hard pass.

I’m not going to be able to resist. I’ll be at Citi Field. Glad I don’t have to travel to Swampland and Metlife Stadium. Def Leppard will steal the show easily. The others can all be rough live depending on the day.

Eh..Poison brings it live. They're not a great band musically but the stuff they did they do good live. Vocally they'll be the kings of this tour. DL musically is better than everyone else put together but Joe's vocals are spotty..
If I hadn't seen these guys multiple times already (except for Joan Jett and I could care less about her) I'd be there for sure. It's a killer lineup..

BTW, it's REALLY awesome that Charlotte got a date. That's the best thing about Jerry Richardson having to sell the Panthers the other year, he sold the stadium too. He had ONE concert there 20 years ago, the Stones, and never allowed another one. We've missed out on so many big stadium tours over the years because his family controlled that stadium. Now that he's out we've already got this and Billy Joel lined up..

Bret’s voice is very spotty and his headline shows are 70 minutes and include guitar and drum solos to give him a rest, even his solo shows when the band members are nobodies. So Poison being the 2nd of 4 bands will basically be able to do their whole headline show but for once fans won’t feel ripped off. I think Joe blows him away vocally, but I’m not saying that Poison isn’t a fun band live.

I wonder how much time everyone gets. I’m guessing 45, 60, 90, 90.

It wouldn't surprise me if Joan Jett sung four or five songs, with no crowd interaction, and was off the stage in 20 minutes.  That's not a knock on Joan, but I just don't see these four acts putting in almost five hours work total.  Even in Wong's eyes, it's still a four plus hour show.  The good thing about a stadium tour is that the stage is huge, so they can basically have all four sets of equipment up on stage at once and minimize the time between bands.  If it was four bands at MSG, you'd be looking at close to a half hour between acts just to change the stage.

Joe Elliot has said he wants it to be a mini-festival and an all-day event.  I expect doors to open at 3 or 4pm.  I took my wife to a Kenny Chesney stadium show with 3 fairly big names (if you're into country) as openers and it was the same deal.  People showed up before noon, got hammered in the parking lot for 3 or 4 hours, then started to file in, and the show started around 5:30 and ended at 11.  Before the show started, there were some things on the video screens to keep the crowd occupied, including Ric Flair cutting a promo on Chesney.  For the price they're going to charge, I hope they can come close to that to justify the cost.

You got one of those wives too eh? My little 'ol Texas gal has made me take her to more country shows than I care to admit. I mean it's not bad. Especially after pre-gaming with Fireball in the parking lot. But I look at myself and say "oh how the mighty have fallen"
