Only Chesney and Garth for me. I preferred Chesney. It’s basically a rock concert. Not the kind of rock I prefer, but rock. I didn’t hear much country. This year Chesney plays Metlife the night before Crue/Leppard play Citi Field. I bet a lot of fans will actually be at both. My wife will be, but fortunately she’s seeing Chesney with friends this time. Last edited on Fri Dec 6th, 2019 11:48 pm by srossi ____________________ This thread was great before AA ruined it. |

I would see the Zac Brown Band. They seem more like southern rock than country to me and the little I've heard of them I like.

The start times for most shows is listed as 4:30. Assuming an 11:00ish curfew, it'll probably line up like this: 4:30 Joan Jett 5:30 Poison 7:00 Leppard/Crue 9:00 Leppard/Crue

Joan will be playing in front of literally 20 people if she goes on at 4:30. I'm sure she'll laugh all the way to the bank but it must be hard to get up and do a great show for an empty stadium every night.

A source is reporting to several metal sites that this tour is almost certainly about to be canceled, not necessarily postponed (although they may try again one day). Rehearsals were supposed to begin in late April/early May, and those clearly won't be able to take place, meaning that the bands (especially Motley Crue, who haven't done this for a while) aren't going to be ready for the tour to start in mid-June even if everything is opened up again shortly before the first date. Under the best of circumstances, some were concerned about Motley's ability to perform, but under these conditions it's almost impossible to move forward without the substantial in-person rehearsals. Then there's all the logistics and the physical building out of the stage and props that go into any major stadium tour, and everything is at a standstill right now. Add to that some health concerns for several guys, especially Mick Mars and Bret Michaels, who are reportedly concerned about coming out of quarantine too soon because of their underlying conditions, and the source says it's next-to-impossible to move forward at any time in 2020, even in the fall. Of course, there are lots of insurance issues and the financial hit will be enormous to all involved, so there's still some behind-the-scenes scrambling to try to save this any way possible. Live Nation has everyone's money and won't want to give it back under any circumstances, so they may keep everyone hostage for a year or more to try to get this thing on the road. That's basically the only reason why an announcement hasn't already been made. Last edited on Thu Apr 2nd, 2020 09:12 pm by srossi ____________________ This thread was great before AA ruined it. |

Yeah, I can't see them canceling this, they're going to list it as "postponed" just like the Stones did so Live Nation can keep the money and not have to refund it..I have $600 right now tied up in Stones and Sammy Hagar/Circle tickets..those 2 bands/acts I'm fine with letting them list it as postponed, I'll go see them even if I have to wait a year but if I had money in any other shows and they were postponed and not canceled I'd be pissed at them basically collecting interest on my money for a year..

I have close to a couple of thousand bucks held up right now by Ticketmaster/Live Nation/etc. A few already announced new dates, some are just TBD, but there is no option to get a refund from these assholes until it's officially announced as canceled. And if you postpone and you can't make the new date, they tell you it's your responsibility to sell your ticket. People are getting pissed and I wouldn't be surprised if this leads to another class action lawsuit like the one Ticketmaster just finished weaseling their way out of with their fake "vouchers". Officially postponed to summer of 2021 with new dates TBA. I'm not holding my breath that this will ever happen.
