More rehashing of what's already been released. So of these matches are on their 3rd or 4th DVD set now. And including a War Games match 6 months after releasing all of them in a set is mind numbing.

If that 3 Count match has Tank Abbott as their cheerleader, I will mark like crazy.

I don't know - as a very occasional DVD buyer, this seems like a decent set.

There's only one match from Starrcade '87 and it's a decent brawl with good heat.  That said, it's on other collections and isn't much of an enticement to get people to buy this one.

I totally agree with you on the GAB '91 match.  I guess they can justify it by the historical aspect of it.  For the first time in the PPV era, Flair wasn't on the card.  Hell, he'd headlined every PPV up to that point with the exception of Havoc '90.  But yeah, the fans shit all over the match and it was a huge warning sign that the company needed to go in a different direction, with different stars.

My complaint would be that there's no Sting vs. Vader matches.  I would probably go with the GAB '92 match because the clean finish was so shocking.  It was a great match, too.

Edit:  Oh, and I loved 3 Count.  I think their inclusion was the right choice.  It was an underrated gimmick and they had some very good matches.

How many of those matches have been released as part of a previous WWE DVD package in the last 10-12 years?

I know it's supposed to be a WCW PPV compilation, but I just wish, just for one time, that Vince would go knee deep into his fabled vault and put out the Razor Ramon vs. Shawn Michaels Ladder Match from Wrestlemania X. That would be so awesome because no one except the lucky guys who work in the Vault have seen that match since the actual live event. I can only dream.

Sting-Squadron vs. Dangerous Alliance - War Games comp

Austin vs. Steamboat was on the Austin What? DVD
