In another thread, Jackyl was mentioned in regards to his WWF run.  
Wasn't his stay rather short?  I thought was pretty good in his role.  Why did he depart so fast?  WWF did not have anything for him.
Did go anywhere else after leaving WWF?

IIRC his character in ECW was originally a parody of a smark/insider, he would use terms like "kayfabe", "mark" and "over". When they started the TNN show, that's when he started the "network" character.

Heyman turned Cyrus into "The Network Representative" once ECW's relationship with TNN headed south. Thought him and Joey Styles had a great chemistry together calling the pay per views. Was supposed to be the color commentator for WCW if Bischoff had completed the purchase of the company. Cyrus was on Jim Cornette's podcast recently, and they discussed his time with the WWF.
