Some of the featured talent are just as bad, although it’s obviously not usually the cream of the crop appearing on TV at the time.

Ultimark wrote: 95% of what was on WWWF TV from 75 to 80 was squash matchings. You could go weeks without a decent match. Strongbow - Valentine was an exception. The tag titles would turn on TV but that is as good as it usually got. That is why I loved GCW so much on TBS. I think 79 was the first year I saw it and they actually had good matches on TV all the time. It was live or appeared to me while it was obvious that the WWWF was taped. A much better product.
GCW, JCP, Florida were all much better products then the WWWF was. Their "squash" matches were much better then most "star matches in the WWWF during this time frame.

From what I have seen the WWWF and AWA were the worst in my opinion but it was all pretty bad. I’ve seen some real garbage from Georgia in the early 80’s as well as JCP.

You’ve been begging for it on our polls and now WWE Network News exclusively has some good news for you all! We can confirm that WCW Thunder will officially be added to the WWE Network on Monday, March 19th!

For those not following the story, WCW Thunder has had a strange history on the WWE Network. Rumors began swirling about the WCW B-show being added at least a year ago, though PWInsider specifically stated that the show was set to be uploaded in early September. Nothing happened though and PWI later reported that this was due to a then-ongoing WWE Network royalties lawsuit involving Raven and Buff Bagwell. When the lawsuit ended and the Thunder content still didn’t land, it was anybody’s guess as to what happened. Well, now we have our answer.

We currently do not know how many episodes of the show will be uploaded, though recent content drops would suggest that it could be as much as a full two years. With Thunder being a 2-hour show, however, that could alter the timeframe. One thing we know for sure is that the series will be added to the Vault section on Monday, March 19th! Stick with WWE Network News as we’ll be sure to update you as soon as possible.

the WWE Network will begin adding episodes of WCW Saturday Night next week to the Vault section for VOD viewing. The current plan is to add the remainder of Mid-Atlantic Wrestling TV in May.

I'm not a JCP guy.  How much Mid-Atlantic is left?  What are we expecting?

Mid-Atlantic ran through around mid 1986, at which point they changed it to NWA Pro Wrestling.

Sorry, I meant the WCW Sat. Night stuff. I have fond memories of watching at 6:05 Saturday nights, it had the typical jobber squashes but you got lots of good stuff in there too... my favorite is from the early 90's, it was supposed to be Flair and Sid against Austin and Vader, but Sid gets jumped by the Kongs (King and Colossal) and take out, so Arn Andersom comes out to replace him as Flairs partner. What followed was a terrific, brutal tag match.
