Conrad also sometimes busts Bruce's balls over stupid stuff just because he doesn't personally like someone, like Brutus Beefcake.  When they "fight", it comes off so phony I just wish they wouldn't.

When they "fight" it's the same every time. You could be fooled the first time, it kinda seems legit. Then they just "reset" and on to the next question, no issues. It's the problem with wrestling podcasts, shoot interviews, and even many of the books. It's basically amateur hour. No legit TV network would have some fat neck beard insurance huckster conducting in depth behind-the-scenes interviews just because they happened to be a fan of the topic.

I will never get WWE's obsession with Bullet Club.  They had an article on WWE.com about The New Day taking on The Elite in a video game tournament and congratulated Omega on his IWGP World title win.  They talk about the Young Bucks so much you'd think they were WWE Tag champs instead of IWGP tag champs.  And yet they hit them with a cease and desist despite promoting them.  It's really bizarre how they basically cover The Bullet Club like they're in WWE.

I hope more of the Crockett cup 87 footage surfaces in the hidden gems section.

Are there any full unedited versions of any Crocket Cup floating around with all the matches?  I believe a heavily edited VHS tape was officially released by JCP, but it was mostly highlights.

If they have the full shows I wish they just put the whole show on.

The turner home video version is only 2hrs and then their is the George Michael sports machine footage that Barnett used to sell which is 2hrs of raw hard cam footage of the event.

18 Episodes of Mid-Atlantic were added yesterday. 7 from 1983. 7 from 1984. 4 from 1985.

That MACW from 84 and 85 is what I’ve been waiting for; I’m thrilled right now

I imagine we'll get the 1986, 1987, and 1988 Crockett Cup tournaments eventually. Was the commentary for the VHS releases done live to tape or added in post production? If it was the latter, that might be an obstacle. Otherwise, it's a matter of waiting until they get around to it. There's probably a plan to not just dump everything out there and instead to let the classic stuff trickle out since there is a finite supply of that footage.

This weeks hidden gem

SMW 01/27/1995 – Skip to my Boo

Before making their mark on ECW, the rivalry between Chris Candido and Boo Bradley comes to a fever pitch in this rarely seen contest.”

Bundy was a placeholder while they were figuring out the whole Andre/DiBiase thing. Remember that show very well and younger me was also surprised Hogan lost. Led to a rematch with the Andre choking angle and the setup to WM4
