There's a really good Table For 3 up with Matt Hardy, Xavier Woods, and Zack Ryder with the theme being "Going Viral". Obviously Matt for his Broken Universe in TNA, Xavier for "Up Up Down Down", and Ryder for being one of the originators with "Z True Island Story". It's a fascinating piece because it's 25 minutes of all 3 guys basically saying "Everything was great until WWE insisted on getting involved and fucked it all up." To hear them talk on WWE Network about WWE officials being out of touch and clueless about how to get over using social media was pretty amazing. At one point they even show clips of Ryder's show that WWE refused to air once they forced him to move to their corporate YouTube channel. After WWE rejected an episode and demanded that Ryder film a new 3 minute piece, Ryder just submitted a clip of him bashing WWE for not airing the intended episode and then walked off his set and taped dead air for the next 2 and a half minutes. That obviously never aired either, but they show the clip here. Matt said, "Wow that was ballsy." wwenetworknews.com This week’s addition to the Hidden Gems section will be another dark match, but a bit more modern than last week’s with Alundra Blayze. AJ Styles’ dark match before RAW from 2001 will be added to the WWE Network archives on Thursday. The match took place on July 9th of that year, and he faced off against Rick Michaels. It seems likely this will be the only gem added this week, however with it being a bit earlier than the usual time we release the information, it’s always possible something else is paired with it. Still – it’s best to assume this will be all that’s added this week but if anything else is set to arrive, we’ll be sure to make note of it. Keep in mind, however, if you’re not into this Hidden Gem, at least one more will become available next week! Below is the synopsis for the upcoming WWE Network Hidden Gems addition: “WWE 07/09/2001 – AJ Styles vs Rick Michaels See a young AJ Styles compete before the WWE audience long before his official debut in this dark match against Rick Michaels.”
