I loved the skit from the SNL where Paul Simon beats Connie Hawkins in a game of 1 on 1. And they filmed it like it was a legitimate contest.

Thanks for posting that folk duo skit from SNL. It was Kevin Bacon rather than John Malkovich, but I had the gist of the premise considering it had been probably 30 years since seeing it until a few minutes ago.
