Demolition, Brain Busters, Road Warriors, Midnight Express. All 80s in my post because I feel it was the best era of tag teams. Freebirds belong too.

What if at the end of these posts, the count it tallied up and an official "Mount Rushmore" is declared for the site?

Looking back, I took the best WWF tag team of the 80s, best AWA team, best NWA team (Tully & Arn weren't together as long), and the Warriors, which dominated all three of the above feds.

Only reason to ever re-watch WrestleMania 1 is for Sheik & Volkoff being crowned World Tag Team Champions. I celebrated like a virgin nerd @ that result

I did this one without reading the thread first...  This time it was three pages long before I could join in.

the Hart Foundation

Road Warriors

New Age Outlaws

Brunnzel and Gagne

I guess I am not very familiar with many older teams?

I can see I somehow forgot about Tully and Arn!  HAHAHA!

As for the all the express tag teams, I really didn't see them much until 24/7 and the DVD sets of the recent times, and perhaps without nostalgia I didn't find them to be that exciting or interesting?

Tag team wrestling is a lost art. I remember when 'teams' would come into an area for the purpose of competing as a tag team. Then we went throught the phase where we just threw two guys on the roster together and made a team out of nowhere that didn't make sense.
