Playing for a 24-7/Classics On Demand/ WWE Network DVD.

Give us the winner.

If your pick (country) is selected already move on to the next most likely to win.

European teams have zero chance due to the ridiculously hot weather in northern, tropical Brazil. Due to Euro TV money, games will be played in the middle of the day in parts of the country where the local teams only ever play evening games. European teams suffered a lot in the USA World Cup, and the conditions will be worse in northern Brazil.

Given that Brazil and Argentina are the only two with a chance, this pool is over....

Having said that...

Just an update on stats since Italy screwed me and got eliminated.  Nice job, you team of Salvatore Bellomos.
Only 12 S&W members have picks in this.  Of those, 3 are eliminated (me, Kargol with Spain and Grog with England).
6 (blazer, Lobo, Khawk, Squared Circle, Kriss and Yellowdog) picked teams that have already advanced through to the next round.
3 (claw, benlen and beej) have teams on the bubble that may or may not advance.
For the record, there are a bunch of teams still alive that nobody picked--most notably, Mexico, Columbia, Chile and Costa Rica have already advanced to the next round but haven't been picked.

I think somebody forgot to tell Germany this--they are currently kicking the shit out of Brazil in Brazil. I've never seen anything like it.  Just a horrible way for Brazil to end it.
Based on what I saw in their previous games, I wasn't convinced Brazil was going to win it all.  I've been saying that, win or lose, the Brazilians will rip that country apart.  I never foresaw this type of crushing defeat though.  This beatdown might be the only thing that keeps Rio from going up in flames tonight, as a riot after a beating this bad is kind of a pussy move.

Good choice with the Netherlands :) Who knew ? I picked Brasil, seemed likle a good idea at the time. When was the last time you saw 8 goals in a soccer game ?

I used to love watching indoor soccer back then, and how they used the boards and the glass. I thought for sure it would catch on.
