Agree on your posts here.

I think it's telling that the Saints are preparing for life post-Brees.  This did not seem like even an average year for QBs though. I am not impressed in the least.

I wanted the Niners to go after Marcus Peters but they passed on him and traded down. Armstead could have still been there in the second round.

It's the Redskins why are you surprised.

How 'bout them Cowboys !!!!!!

from nfl.com:

The Dallas Cowboys continue to add big names to their offseason haul.

LSU offensive tackle La'el Collins has agreed to sign as an undrafted free agent, NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported Thursday, according to a source. The move continues an offseason trend of Cowboys owner Jerry Jones adding players who have been in the news: Greg Hardy, Randy Gregory, and now Collins.

Collins is currently working to clear his name in a Louisiana police investigation into the murder of Brittany Mills. Collins met with Baton Rouge police Monday and is not considered a suspect. Mills, 29, was pregnant at the time of her death and had a previous relationship with the LSU star. Rapoport reported on Wednesday that test results showed Collins is not the father of the baby who died in Baton Rouge, per a source informed of the results.

Damn, too bad he's going to Dallas. I was hoping KC would take him in the 7th. Then if he's convicted or involved somehow, they're only out of a 7th rounder BFD.

Good move by f'n Dallas

I was surprised that some team didn't grab his rights in the 7th round - especially when there were a few teams that had multiple picks. Dallas, Oakland and Denver all had 3 picks in the last round and none of them took a chance. Turned out great for Dallas as they ended up with 3 players that most Mock Drafts had going in the 1st round before the off the field problems for 2 of them came to light.

Is anyone really shocked it's the Cowboys who get the guy with the off field issues. It's still a good move by them but I'm sure other teams passed because all the off field stuff. Dallas is like a prison for white collar criminals.

Apparently he is totally in the clear.

from cbssports.com:

Collins was expected to be a first round pick in last week's 2015 NFL Draft, but the shooting death of his pregnant ex-girlfriend Brittney Mills -- and the fact that police in Louisiana wanted to question Collins in relation to it -- interfered and he wound up going unselected. Collins was never considered a suspect, and earlier this week, he passed a polygraph test in relation to the case. A paternity test also came back negative, definitively proving that Collins is not the father of Mills' child.

If he is, I feel terrible for the guy as he got royally fucked. You know that there was collusion to keep him undrafted. Figures Jerrah was the messiah who broke that mold, but it's a good move football-wise.

I'm not sure what universe we are living in, but apparently crazy Jerry is trying to build  a winning football team without regards to who is doing the winning, character be damned. It helps that Jerrah Reese is trying to build a church choir, the Skins are clueless, and Chip Kelly is in a lab with smoking breakers and stuff trying to construct a college team out of professional players.

A few things.  Collins is supposedly a big Cowboys fan, so the decision was easy for him (Even if it means he'll never win a SB there :D

Beyond that, he signed a 3 year deal.  So IF he hits the market, he'll cash in as long as he plays well.  His deal will expire the same year as Zac Martin's, so it'll be interesting to see what they do there.

The fact the Raiders didn't grab him likely means he becomes a hall of famer.  Had they selected him in the 7th he would likely be a bust.   I will say the Raiders have done less "wrong" this off season than in previous years but overall I don't think their draft was as good as it could have been and I don't think they have been as aggressive in FA as they seemed to indicate they were going to be.  They have made some good moves and have gotten rid of some unbelievably smelly rubbish but there is still much to do before even 8-8 can seem like a reasonable outcome.
