I'm surprised he is billed as "Johnny Valentine Jr" right off the bat. Basically because that would make Johnny Valentine "sound O-L-D". I had thought Greg was billed as Johnny's brother.

I heard the same thing but the only names I can find him working under are Johnny Valentine, Jr., Johnny Fargo, and Hiroshima Joe(?!).  Uh, what's that last one about?

I knew he was booked originally as Johnny's offspring, but why did he start in Canada?  Weren't the Valentines American?  This may be a totally retarded question so apologies in advance.

Thanks!
Eric

His father got him into The Dungeon so he started in Stampede.

This Apter mag has a Hiroshimo Joe story (see bottom right corner).
Valentine used the gimmick in L.A., 1975.
Maybe AbbyDaBuccher has a copy of the mag.

That's great.  "How to Look Like Me" by Superstar!

Lots, and I mean lots, of steroids.

What shocked me the most was that he did not work daily for Stu in Stampede.  I did the research for Stampede for that time period.  Seeing Wayne Coleman start and worke every day.

It makes you wonder how Stu decided on people that he was training, to who got to work in the ring and got pushed.
