That's when the target audience was used to seeing the show air in its prime.

So you're saying the target audience is a bunch of people who are now in the 50-70 year old range?  Again, why air it on late night?  They didn't want to bump The Patty Duke Show?

Antenna is aiming straight at people above 40 who watched their regular shows from the 1960s into the mid 1980s. They are programming along the lines of a conventional station with their various prime time reruns dominating prime time and Johnny Carson late night when people were accustomed to seeing him and when they figure some of the older audience will see his reruns as an alternative to the likes of Colbert, Kimmel, Fallon, and Conan who aren't aiming content at them.

Those are the people who stay up late because they don't have to wake up early and go to work.

Don't you think that watching old people sleep is kind of creepy?

The Freddie Prinze episode from May 1974 seems interesting. He'd performed stand up on the "Tonight Show" a few months earlier and his career was rising, but "Chico and the Man" would not debut on NBC until the fall of that year, several months later. At the time of airing the guy was still 19 and had only dropped out of high school to pursue a comedy career a little more than a year earlier. His inability to cope with the rush of fame contributed to his early demise.

Antenna doesn't have a separate West Coast feed. Airtimes shown are Eastern. Subtract hours accordingly, if necessary.
