The Rams fired Jeff Fisher. John Fassel is the interim coach to see out the season.

He needs a one game gig with some team.  A game his team will undoubtedly lose-even if was the Patriots and then his name can live in infamy all on it's own.

Yeah of Fisher goes 7-9 in San Fran that'll be a step forward.

There's NO WAY they bring Kelly back, is there? Man I just look at him and he looks like he is somewhere else and thinking about his next job

The lost to the Jets might be the straw that breaks the camels back. Entire coaching staff and front office may get the boot including president Jed York. He will be replaced by John York, his father. He was in charge before  he handed the reigns to his son and he knows absolutely nothing about football. He better be hiring some football people or else it the franchise will be the west coast version of the Browns.

The Bills and Chargers aren't exactly the '85 Bears, but you're probably right.

You just had a bye, your opponent didn't.

Your opponent is your 'hated' state rival.

Your head coach was a coach last year on your opponent

Down 20-0 at the half, and it could have been worse.

They aren't going to win even one game.

Chip Kelly has to go simply, if for no other reason, SF never scores in the second half. You can't blame that one on the GM, that's on the coaching staff failing to make game plan adjustments.

I am just guessing here but maybe they scripted Kaepenick first 20-25 plays. After that he is on his own and clueless.
