2016 is ending soon so here are the official rules for the 2017 Pool now:

- all picks must be received ( via PM so nobody can see them until all picks are posted ) by 6 pm Eastern on January 1st.  If one of your picks gets fired between the time you submit your picks and 6 pm Eastern January 1st then you can replace that pick and put your new pick anywhere on your list. All replacement picks must be submitted by 6 pm Eastern January 2nd. Once again there is no actual prize given to the winner so S & W bragging rights is really the best prize of all.

- if one of your picks gets fired, gets reassigned within the organization or simply quits then you will get points. Simply put - if you pick a Head Coach, Assistant Coach, Manager or GM and at some point he no longer has that position for any reason you will get points.

- scoring will be exactly the same as the 2016 version.  All " island picks " will be worth 2 points since it's hard to come up with a name that nobody else picks.  We are keeping the " Sure Thing " pick. If you score with your 10 point pick then you will receive an extra 10 points but if your 10 point pick still has the same position on January 1 - 2018 then you will lose 10 points.   So good luck and send me your picks ASAP.
