Take the 7.5 and Minnesota.  The Giants are less likely to stop the run than the pass.  They'll kill whoever is playing QB for the Vikings and Childress will run the ball.  Giants win though.

I like Indy by about 30 points over the hapless Falcons after they have a wake up call this week.  They are due to inflict pain on somebody soon.  Why not the Falcons?

Tennessee (1) at Cincy

Buffalo at Jacksonville (7.5)

Philly at New England (24)

New England -24 may be the all-time largest NFL spread ever posted. Miami goes to New England later this year so it will get topped.

Also "New England Super Bowl odds" have been posted (did they win the AFC already?) so you can get your bets in now vs any of these four potential opponents. I guess for those that think the odds will be significantly different in February and want to get in on the action now.

New England -15 vs Dallas

New England -17 vs Green Bay

New England -20 vs NY Giants

New England -21 vs Seattle

Pretty sure Tampa Bay was a 20+ point underdog a few times during their 0-26 run.

At this point in the season I'd say NE covers the spread against GB.

I can only find going back as far as 1984. But the biggest NFL spread I can find was in 1993 Cincy @ San Fran and the 49ers were 23 point favorites.

As per my local sports talk station, the biggest spread in the NFL EVER was in 1976 when the (expansion) and winless Tamp a Bay Bucs went into the (Super Bowl Champion) Pittsburgh Steeler's house and were installed as a 26 point underdog. Steelers won 42-0.
