There's a rally for Kaepernick  by people who can't even spell his name.

Spike Lee isn’t standing for the continued unemployment of Colin Kaepernick.
The filmmaker took to Twitter on Tuesday morning to promote a rally for Kaepernick outside NFL headquarters in Manhattan. Just one problem: Kaepernick’s name is spelled wrong in the picture Lee tweeted promoting the protest.
“United We Stand,” reads the image advocating the Aug. 23 protest. “Rally for Colin Kapernick.” That tricky first “e.”

Spike Lee is nuts if he thinks this will do anything but hurt Kaepernick who would do well to ask Lee to call the thing off or at least not hold the rally in his name. I truly believe there is no conspiracy or collusion to keep the guy out of the NFL. Talent overrides virtually all obstacles in the NFL. It comes back to the player having an unrealistic notion about his salary expectations and the amount of playing time he should or would receive. If he took a low number with incentives to be a backup, he'd be in camp now. If someone gets hurt or just looks irredeemably bad, he will get a phone call.

Tamalie, I have to disagree. Maybe he needs to accept less, but you can't look at the money thrown at Glennon and that bum Texas signed last year, whose name escapes me, and say teams won't risk throwing big money at QBseven if they are unproven. Kap is proven and much better than both of them.

Miami just got Cutler out of retirement & Flacco is hurt, and the the Ravens owner has come out and said it's all about whether or not their fan base will accept Kap. That's the same fans who gave Ray Rice a standing ovation and cheered Ray Lewis.

I'm not sure if blackballed is the correct word but there are about 100 QBs in NFL camps and about 80 of them are not as good as Kap.

Last nite Marshawn Lynch sat during the National anthem holding a banana. Nothing is going to happen to him because he has talent and he's a likeable guy. And I disagree with the comment that Kaepernick is better than 80% of the QBs out there. Chip Kelly's offense just inflated his stats for one season. Look what it did for Nick Foles and look where he is now.

Chip was only his coach for 12 games.  He has always had a TD to Int. rate of better than 2 to 1 and adds a running threat averaging 6.1 yards per carry and more than 2 rushing TDs. And he's had playoff success.

Compare him to Glennon  a career loser with one good season or Cutler a career loser with nearly a 1-1 TD to Pick ratio.

I've got looking at this list I've 21 better than him.  http://www.ourlads.com/nfldepthcharts/depthchartpos/QB
Who knows about rookies that were drafted this year or sat the bench last year, and there are a block of QBs that we could split hairs about.  I said he was better than about 80 if you want to say 70 or 75 fine, but what's the fucking difference there are a lot of Quarterbacks employed by the NFL who are a lot worse the Kaepernick.

Just for fun where would you put him on this list?  I don't agree with this list, but it's a guideline.  It was done pre-draft.

I'd put him in with anyone between 11 & 22 on this list, and in front of everyone from 25 back.  Garoppolo is a wild card.  The spots 11-22 are highly debatable, and odd to me.

I don't agree with the list but using the list I would put him #25 behind noodle arm Alex Smith. Kaepernick is just too dumb and inmature for me. Last year his second half QB rating was in the 70's and thats with the defenses playing soft to kill time. He turned down 7 mil last year and now he can't even get one. He bet on himself and lost.

I watched Kaep play against the Bills last season. The Bills absolutely slaughtered them and Kaep just compiled stats and a long TD after the game was out of reach.

Tyrod Taylor is a similar QB with a better arm, and people want to run him out of town. He is similar in that he is a mobile QB with a good TD to INT ratio, but takes a ton of sacks and is inaccurate on sideline pattern passes.

You can now wager on where he lands

Cleveland 2-1
Indianapolis 3-1
Seattle 3-1
LA Rams 4-1
New Orleans 5-1
Buffalo 5-1
Houston 6-1
NY Jets 7-1

Bills have zero interest. Tyrod Taylor is basically Kaepernick with a better arm. And they have backups.
